My mail today, when I got home and checked the letterbox, was an envelope containing both a KCDC congratulations card, and also a letter, from our mayor - re my being a member of the NZ Scrabble team for Sydney at the end of November (as reported in one of the local papers last week). So, that was a nice surprise. :)
