I particularly liked BARTONS, as I knew it from having written this limerick for OEDILF:

A farmer, when harvest was startin',
Asked Charlie to fetch him a carton.
"The carton," said Charlie,
"Encloses some barley
And so does the farmyard, the barton."

The word barton, meaning farmyard, derives from the Old English for 'barley enclosure'.
